Revocation of Unread E-mail in an Untrusted Network

چکیده
We present protocols for enhancing e-mail systems to allow for secure revocation of messages. This paper identiies the security requirements for e-mail revocation and then shows how our protocols adhere to these requirements. Three diierent levels of security and threat models are described. We discuss our implementation of the level 1 protocol , which assumes no security infrastructure. The protocols were designed so that existing mailers can easily be enhanced with these new features.

Performance Study of Untrusted Relay Network Utilizing Cooperative Jammer
Abstract—In this paper, the problem of secure transmission in two-hop amplify-and-forward (AF) systems with an untrusted relay is investigated. To prevent the untrusted relay from intercepting the source message and to achieve positive secrecy rate, the destination-based cooperative jamming (DBCJ) technique is used. In this method the destination sends an intended jamming signal to the relay. T...

One of the security issues in data outsourcing is the enforcement of the data owner’s access control policies. This includes some challenges. The first challenge is preserving confidentiality of data and policies. One of the existing solutions is encrypting data before outsourcing which brings new challenges; namely, the number of keys required to access authorized resources, efficient policy u...
متن کاملDoS-Resistant Attribute-Based Encryption in Mobile Cloud Computing with Revocation
Security and privacy are very important challenges for outsourced private data over cloud storages. By taking Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) for Access Control (AC) purpose we use fine-grained AC over cloud storage. In this paper, we extend previous Ciphertext Policy ABE (CP-ABE) schemes especially for mobile and resource-constrained devices in a cloud computing environment in two aspects, a ...
متن کاملSiRiUS: Securing Remote Untrusted Storage
This paper presents SiRiUS, a secure file system designed to be layered over insecure network and P2P file systems such as NFS, CIFS, OceanStore, and Yahoo! Briefcase. SiRiUS assumes the network storage is untrusted and provides its own read-write cryptographic access control for file level sharing. Key management and revocation is simple with minimal out-of-band communication. File system fres...
متن کاملA JADE Implementation of Integrated Agent System for E-Mail Coordination (IASEC)
With growing usage of computer applications there is growing dependence of business over computer aided services like emails. The CRM or E-Mail based marketing companies are becoming pervasive. To run these companies in a way that the customers are well satisfied, there is always a greater need to prioritize the e-mails which has a direct impact on the ROI – Return On Investment. In this paper,...
